Silver powder graphite is a widely used release agent in sand molding, alongside talcum. It is particularly used when objects with pores and cracks, such as wooden models, need to be molded. If these cracks and pores are to be filled as much as possible, silver powder graphite is significantly better suited than talcum.
Silver powder graphite can also be used in part as a dry lubricant, as it has similar properties to pure graphite powder.
