Silver powder graphite is a release agent widely used in sand molding, alongside talc. It is particularly used when objects with pores and cracks need to be molded, e.g. wooden patterns. When these cracks and pores need to be filled as much as possible, silver powder graphite is significantly better suited than talc.
Silver powder graphite can also be partially used as a dry lubricant, as it has similar properties to pure graphite powder.
