RAKSO STEEL WOOL PADS are available in 9 grades, which are categorized into a clear color-coding system: YELLOW represents the fine grades, ORANGE for the medium grades and RED for the coarser grades.

With the fine grades No. 0000, 000, 00, you can, for example, smooth wood after staining, polish waxed wood with new wax, thoroughly and gently clean plastic blinds and garden furniture, and polish aluminum, copper, and brass.

With the medium grades No. 0, 1, 2, you can, for example, smooth wood after priming, remove old varnishes with the help of solvents, sand plasterboard, remove dirt residues from tiles and stone floors, and polish copper pipes and fittings before soldering.

With the coarser grades No. 3, 4, 5, you can, for example, enhance natural grain on softwoods (pine, spruce), clean glass and glass blocks scratch-free, and roughen old varnishes and paints.
