AlSi7Mg is a hypoeutectic, popular aluminum casting alloy. It has good mechanical properties for aluminum, casts very well, and exhibits high corrosion resistance. Compared to AlSi10Mg, its toughness is increased, with slightly lower strength. Despite forming a melting range, the alloy casts very well. AlSi7Mg can be welded well.

The convenient portioning into ingots of approx. 100g each ensures that even small quantities can be easily melted down and cast. The ingots fit into any crucible we know.
