Body tin Sn92Cu8 is an alternative to lead-containing body solders like Pb74Sn25Sb1 and features a very wide melting range of 230–350 °C (120 K), which ensures good workability over a wide temperature range. However, since the melting range is higher than with Pb74Sn25Sb1 or SnZn5Cu3, more energy is required for melting.

The bars have dimensions of approx. 400x14x10mm. These may vary, which is why the price is calculated per gram, not per bar. For order quantities of 250g or more, whole bars are supplied; otherwise, parts of bars.
