Description

100g-1kg fine talcum powder.

This powder is essential for creating sand molds from oil sand. It is dusted between the mold halves to prevent them from sticking together. The part to be molded also needs to be powdered. Additionally, release sprays can be used to achieve a higher quality mold.
Talc is also recommended as a release agent when casting in silicone rubber molds. Powdering the molds with it before casting improves both the casting quality and the longevity of the mold.
