ZAMAK is a general term for zinc alloys that, in addition to Zinc, also contain Aluminum, Magnesium, and Copper. These are predominantly used in die casting or centrifugal casting processes, but can also be applied in other areas. Due to the lower melting range compared to pure zinc, this alloy can even be cast into heat-resistant silicone rubber molds.
