The aluminum ingots have dimensions of 110x40x20 mm and a unit weight of 250g.
They are well-suited for melting and casting. You can easily alloy the aluminum with silicon to create common aluminum casting alloys. For simple castings, the AlSi12 aluminum-silicon eutectic with 12% silicon content is highly suitable. This has a melting point of 577°C and should be cast at approx. 700°C.
