Pure Tin Sn99.9 in Solder Bars
Purity: 99.9%
Dimensions (LxWxH): 400x15x10mm
Weight per bar: approx. 250g
Melting point: 232°C
Density: 7.265 g/cm³
This offer includes pure tin (Sn99.9) in the form of triangular bars.
The bars have dimensions of approx. 400x15x10mm. These may vary, which is why the price is calculated per gram, not per bar. For order quantities of 250g or more, whole bars are supplied; otherwise, parts of bars will be delivered.
In this form, the pure tin is intended for soldering. Of course, it can also be used for other processing. Should you require tin with a copper content, you will also find the same bars made of SnCu0.7 in our product range.
Our tin triangular rods have a purity of at least 99.9%, making them food-safe and lead-free.
The pure tin is also very suitable for tinning surfaces, e.g. copper pots and dishes.
For the correct preparation of tinning or soldering points made of copper or copper alloys, it is recommended to use a suitable soldering fluid to achieve an optimal result. One such soldering fluid is the Z-02, which is also available from us in an attractive combination with Sn99.9 triangular bars.
To match the pure tin Sn99.9 triangular rods, you will receive lucrative combinations with fluxes and tinning pastes:
Z-02 is a soldering flux for tin alloys for application on surfaces made of copper or copper alloys. When tinning copper dishes, it can be used, for example, to prepare surfaces.
Soldering grease 621 is also suitable for surfaces made of copper, copper alloys and zinc and is usually used more in the electrical solder area.
The Pastine 100 is a tinning paste based on pure tin. With it, even thin tin layers can be applied to surfaces made of copper, copper alloys or steel, which can then be very well re-tinned with pure tin or tin alloys if required. With this paste, copper dishes, for example, can also be pre-tinned or completely tinned.
In addition to triangular bars of pure tin, we also offer pure tin pellets and ingots.
