The material is clean and free from impurities. <\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ms58 is a common brass alloy containing 39% zinc and up to 3% lead. It is very suitable for casting and hot forming. The lead content does not affect castability and ensures excellent machinability of the solidified casting.<br \/>\nIf the lead content in the alloy is a concern for you, you can also purchase pure copper and pure zinc in convenient quantities from our shops to alloy lead-free brass yourself.<br \/>\nWhen casting zinc-containing alloys, please note that zinc will evaporate from the melt at temperatures above 907 \u00b0C.
