It is primarily used as a base for the production of alloys such as bronze or brass. Pure copper can, of course, also be cast as is.<br \/>\nFor ideal casting behavior, we recommend pouring the copper at 1150-1200 \u00b0C and adding slag binder for copper and copper-based alloys to the melt beforehand.<br \/>\nThe surface of the ingots is not polished and therefore appears somewhat dull.
