Tinning paste based on SnCu3<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Base: Zinc chloride and SnCu3 powder<\/strong>
\nStandards: S-Sn97Cu3 \/ DIN EN ISO 9453 (SnCu3 powder) and 3.1.1.C \/ DIN EN 29454-1 (flux)<\/strong>
\nForm: Metallic gray mass<\/strong>
\nWorking temperature range: approx. 150 – 400 \u00b0C
\nDensity: 2.5 g\/cm3
\n<\/sup><\/strong>Application: For tinning or pre-tinning surfaces made of copper, copper alloys, or steel, especially in automotive bodywork and copper pipe installation.<\/strong>

Pastin 803 tinning paste enables fast and clean tinning of surfaces made of copper, copper alloys, or steel. While Pastin 803 is relatively universally applicable, it has been optimized for automotive body tinning with lead-free solders and copper pipe<\/a> installation with SnCu3<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Before application, the paste should be briefly stirred or shaken again. Then, the paste can be applied to the surface to be tinned with a brush. Subsequently, the paste is carefully heated with a flame until liquid SnCu3 drops and hydrochloric acid form on the surface, ideally preparing the surface locally for tinning. The SnCu3 drops must be quickly spread with a lint-free cloth. The surface is then tinned. Only spread the tin when the paste has completely reacted. Afterwards, you can continue working directly with the appropriate solder. The acid produced during the reaction is corrosive and must be rinsed off promptly with water or mordant after the tinning\/soldering process. <\/p>\n

Surfaces that are prepared with pre-tinning pastes can be soldered or tinned very well and cleanly.<\/p>\n

For automotive body tinning with lead-containing solders, Pastin 40<\/a> should be used.<\/p>\n

The Pastin 830<\/a> is ideally suited for soldering or tinning with tin-silver solders.<\/p>\n

In the area of copperware tinning and generally as a universal tinning paste, Pastin 100<\/a> is very well suited.<\/p>\n

During processing, effective extraction\/fresh air supply, e.g. also by ventilation, must be ensured due to the soldering fumes.<\/p>\n

Pastin 803 is available in an attractive combination with triangular rods made of the lead-free automotive body solders SnCu8<\/a> and SnZn5Cu3<\/a>, as well as the plumbing solder SnCu3<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
