Silicone rubber for making heat-resistant molds for casting low-melting point metals like tin.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Properties and Application:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n– Cross-linking<\/span> into a resilient, rubber-elastic vulcanizate without heat of reaction<\/strong>
\n– Temporarily temperature resistant up to 450 degrees Celsius<\/strong>
\n– High tear strength<\/span> and high flexibility<\/strong>
\n– Very high reproduction fidelity<\/strong>
\n– For making molds for casting with low-melting point metals (tin, lead) and bismuth alloys<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Silicone Rubber HB is very well suited for making heat-resistant molds (short-term, at the time of pouring, no continuous temperature resistance) for casting with low-melting point metals.
\nAt the same time, the molds are elastic, durable, and also suitable for reproducing undercuts.<\/p>\n

When casting with low-melting point metals, ensure the mold is absolutely dry, and the mold should be treated with talcum powder as a release and flow agent before each casting.
\nThis will result in better casting results and protect the mold from burns.<\/p>\n

With Silicone Rubber HB, single- or multi-part molds<\/span> can be made,
\nfor replicating<\/span> original models made of wood, glass, metal, plastic, wax, ceramic casting compounds.
\nYou can also cast all water-soluble casting materials in the molds you make, such as
\nrelief casting compounds like Stewalin, Keraflott or plaster, Keramin, Alabit, modeling and model-building plaster, casting clay, cement, concrete, etc.<\/p>\n

The silicone has not been tested for skin<\/span> and mucous membrane compatibility, nor for use in connection with food.
