It serves as a replacement for lead-containing alloys such as <a href=\"https:\/\/zinn-giesserei-goehler.com\/produkt\/lagermetall-weissmetall-wm80-sn80sb12cu6pb2\/\">WM80<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>The alloy is characterized by good static compressive strength, high corrosion resistance, excellent plain bearing and emergency running properties, as well as good solderability on Cu-Zn-Sn alloys, cast steel, and cast iron.<\/p>\n<p>Emergency running properties mean that a material can withstand mechanical loads in a plain bearing for a short time, even without lubricant, without failing.<\/p>\n<p>The liquidus temperature is 360 \u00b0C (melting temperature). It is recommended to cast the alloy at approx. 390\u2013440 \u00b0C.
