These may vary, which is why the price is calculated per gram and not per bar. Whole bars are supplied for order quantities of 220g or more; otherwise, parts of bars are supplied. Some bars are marked &#8220;SnCu1&#8221; instead of &#8220;SnCu0.7&#8221;. This is a casting error during manufacturing. However, the composition remains SnCu0.7.<br \/>\nThe copper content gives the tin better strength compared to pure tin.<br \/>\nThe composition is eutectic. This means there is a single melting point and no melting range. The solder therefore does not behave in a pasty manner. It is preferably used in electrical engineering as a substitute for lead-containing tin solders.        <\/p>\n<p>For proper preparation of solder joints made of copper or copper alloys, it is recommended to use a suitable soldering flux to achieve an optimal result.
