It is an ideal lead-free alternative, as it has nearly identical properties to <a href=\"https:\/\/zinn-giesserei-goehler.com\/produkt\/roses-metall-bipbsn25-granulat\/\">Rose&#8217;s metal<\/a> (25% lead content). The silver content in the alloy increases strength compared to <a href=\"https:\/\/zinn-giesserei-goehler.com\/produkt\/bismut-zinn-legierung-pellets-bisn42\/\">BiSn42<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/zinn-giesserei-goehler.com\/produkt\/roses-metall-bipbsn25-granulat\/\">Rose&#8217;s metal<\/a>. The melting point is not significantly altered by the silver content and remains at approx. 138 \u00b0C.<br \/>\nThe alloy can be used for reliable casting of small parts. The low melting point of 138 \u00b0C prevents the alloy from solidifying too quickly and allows molds to be filled more effectively. The casting properties are therefore very good.
