Soldering Antioxidation Phosphorus

Antioxidation Pellets Sn99.5p0.5

Composition: 99.5% Tin and 0.5% Phosphorus
Form: Pellets
Melting point: 232 °C
Density: approx. 7.3 g/cm³

The antioxidation pellets consist of pure tin with a 0.5% phosphorus content. The phosphorus content ensures a reduction of metal oxides in the melt bath and significantly reduces dross formation and suspended particles. This significantly increases metal yield and heat transfer. The phosphorus is consumed bit by bit.

Approximately 1 pellet per kg of solder should be used. For bath temperatures up to approx. 500 °C, two pellets per kg should be used.
