Purpose of the included components:

• 1x Steel molding flask for sand molds 300 x 200 x 160 mm
  Needed to hold the molding sand stably (in shape) and allows for precise placement of the cope and drag.
• 25 kg oil-bonded molding sand (more than enough to fill the flask)
  Used as a molding material for molding the pattern.
• 500 g Talc
  Talc is used as a parting agent between the pattern and the molding sand, as well as between the molding sand of the cope and drag (see instructions).
• 1x Fine powder bag
  Used for fine and even distribution of the molding sand.
• 1x Flat molding brush
  Used for fine finishing of the mold.
• 1x Wooden rammer
  Needed to compact the sand. The angular shape ensures good accessibility in the corners of the molding flask.
• 1x Strike-off bar
  Needed to smooth out compacted sand molds. It is a 12 x 12 mm square steel bar with a length of 500 mm.
• 1x Spoon lancet
  The lancet is used to create clean and precise channels in the sand mold. It is also used for repairing mold areas.
• 1x Steel riddle, 320 mm diameter
  Needed to finely sieve molding sand over the pattern to accurately reproduce all contours.
• 1x Measuring scoop 250 mm
  The robust aluminum scoop is used to shovel the molding sand.
• 1x Wooden dowel 20 mm
  Serves as an aid for setting a sprue.
• 2x Wooden dowels 15 mm
  Serve as an aid for setting larger vent channels.

With this set, you get everything you need to create simple sand molds. For melting and casting, you will then only need suitable aggregates, aids, and metals. You can also get these from us.
