Base: Boron compounds, fluorides
Form: White paste
Working temperature range: approx. 750-1100 °C
Includes a robust brush for application in every variant!

FH21 is a brazing flux for soldering copper, brass, copper alloys, nickel, nickel alloys, steels and hard metals. Unlike FH10, it is not freely available and is therefore only for commercial and institutional users. However, you can also work very well with FH10 as an alternative.

Each variant includes a robust brush for applying the brazing paste.

The flux residues can be corrosive and should be removed by washing or pickling.

During processing, effective extraction / fresh air supply, e.g. by ventilation, must be ensured due to the soldering fumes.

You can find brazing rods with suitable combinations for FH21 or FH10 in our brazing assortment.

Soldering fluid for plumber’s solder

Base: Zinc chloride
Form: Clear, aqueous solution
Working temperature range: approx. 150 – 400 °C
Density: 1.3 g/cm3
Application: Soft soldering flux for titanium zinc, fine zinc, and galvanized sheet steel
Includes a robust brush for spreading
Ensures clean and strong solder joints

Z-04 soldering fluid is ideally suited for preparing surfaces made of titanium zinc, fine zinc, and galvanized sheet steel for soldering with plumber’s solder SnZn9 (eutectic) or SnZn15 (pasty). The soldering fluid removes minor impurities and dissolves oxide layers that would cause insufficiently strong solder joints during soldering. The use of soldering fluid is therefore almost essential to ensure good solder joint quality. The soldering fluid is corrosive and must be rinsed off promptly with water or mordant after the soldering process.

During processing, effective extraction / fresh air supply, e.g. by ventilation, must be ensured due to the soldering fumes.

You can get the Z-04 soldering fluid from us in an attractive combination with the popular plumber’s solder SnZn9

The brazing alloy L-CuZn40 is a common copper/brass brazing alloy and is preferably used to braze copper alloys with a solidus temperature above 950 °C, unalloyed or low-alloy steels, as well as nickel and nickel alloys.

Fluxes based on FH21 and FH10 can be used during the soldering process. Since FH10, unlike FH21, is freely available because it contains more compatible substances, we recommend using this flux for brazing L-CuZn40.

For quantities up to 5 pieces, we offer the rods divided in the middle to provide you with a more favorable price through shipping cost savings.

Brazing Alloy L-CuP6 According to DIN EN 1044/DIN EN ISO 3677

Composition: 94% Copper and 6% Phosphorus
Form: Rods of 2x2x500 mm

The L-CuP6 brazing alloy is very well suited for brazing copper alloys (e.g., tin bronzes or brass) as well as pure copper. It can be used without flux when brazing pure copper parts. The phosphorus is sufficient to create a reducing atmosphere. For all other applications, FH10 flux (silver solder paste) should be used. The FH10 flux is available together with a robust brush for application in combination with the brazing alloy rods.

L-CuP6 is particularly suitable for copper pipe installation according to DVGW worksheet GW 2.

However, it is unsuitable for brazing Fe- and Ni-containing alloys.

CuP6 is also very well suited as a master alloy to specifically introduce phosphorus into copper alloys. In small quantities (max. 0.5%), phosphorus improves the mold-filling capacity (castability) of the melt because it deoxidizes it. In addition, it increases strength. However, excessive amounts of phosphorus make the alloy brittle and should therefore be avoided. To still ensure good formability, the phosphorus content should not exceed 0.35%; for pure casting alloys, it can be up to 0.5%.

For quantities up to 5 pieces, we offer the rods divided in the middle to provide you with a more favorable price through shipping cost savings.
