<strong>Melting point: 183 °C<br />
</strong></p>
<p>Sn63Pb37 is the eutectic composition of tin and lead, and therefore has a melting point of only 183 °C. Due to this low melting point and eutectic solidification, it is well suited as electrical solder. As the alloy contains lead, it may only be sold to commercial and institutional customers.  </p>
<p>Lead-free alternatives with similar properties and thus suitability as electrical solder are <a href="https://zinn-giesserei-goehler.com/en/produkt/sncu0-7-triangular-solder-rod/">SnCu0.7</a> and <a href="https://zinn-giesserei-goehler.com/en/produkt/snag4-triangular-solder-bar/">SnAg4 (3.5)</a>.</p>
<p>The bars have dimensions of approx. 400x14x10mm. These may vary, which is why the price is calculated per gram, not per bar. For order quantities of 250g or more, whole bars are supplied; otherwise, parts of bars.  </p>
